Male fruit flies attracted by chemical reward of Bulbophyllum cheiri feeding on floral synomone containing methyl eugenol. NB - a male Bactrocera dorsalis bearing a pollinarium at bottom right of the flower.

Bufo japonicus
Bufo japonicus is a common toad in Tsukuba, Japan. The adults secret noxious fluid from the secretory organs on the skin. Major toxic secretions in Bufo toads have been known to be hallucinogenic alkaloids such as bufotenine and cardiac steroids (heart poison) such as bufotoxin.
